Log Profiles Lodge Logs offers two log profiles. Our full round log is offered in Swedish cope, with tongue and groove for an airtight seal. Our "D" profile offers a flat interior wall while maintaining a round exterior, including the stockade corners. The "D" and round profiles can be matched together to create flat and round interior wall surfaces throughout the house if desired. Log Diameters We provide our precision milled logs in 1 inch increments beginning with 7", up to 12". We also offer 6" round logs in random length or pre-cut packages for special projects.. Wood Species You can choose from a variety of woods including Lodgepole Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Engleman Spruce, Douglas Fir or Western Red Cedar. Log Packages Lodge Logs provides log wall systems as well as full log shell packages which include log walls, rafters, ridge beams, log trusses, log stairs, etc. You may choose the log wall system, the full log shell system, or anything in between. See the sketch below for the components that you may choose from. Hand Hewn Logs Both our round logs and our "D" logs can be given a draw knife/ hand crafted finish for a more rustic appearance. Log Siding For those areas on your home where you want the "log" look, but don't want full logs, we offer true half-log siding. This product can also be provided to include full diameter log and saddle notches on the stockade ends, giving the exact appearance of full logs. We also provide 2"x8" siding with lap/gap installation grooves. Large Diameter Log Components Due to the quality of our logs and milling facility, we can provide our customers with log roof members, full log gables, log floor joists, second story log walls, log trusses, etc. Specialty Pieces We offer log posts, rails, and spindles for your balconies, decks, and porches, and can also provide log stairs and log mantles to give that rustic, beautiful look that you desire for your home.
